I almost got raped
So as some of you guys may know, I'm a Pizza Hut delivery driver. Yesterday I went to a customers house and almost got raped.
Heres how it went.
So, this guy calls for a delivery and he lived just under a km too far from our radius. Our del radius is 5km. He lived like 5.6km away. Anyways. He lived in an area that is general quite nice (st johns) but when I turned up, it was this dirty looking apartment complex. Immediately it felt like something wasn't right. So I go the the guys door and knock. Through the door he says "open the door and come up the stairs". Of course I say that I can't blah blah blah. He keeps on saying for me to come inside. He eventually comes down the stairs (without the money, mind you) and opens the door and he was this biggish guy with holes in his pants and a horrible flannel shirt and his hair was a mess. I had this feeling that something was off with this dude. He then says to me "follow me up the stairs so I can give you the money and you can drop the pizza off". I then reply "I'm sorry, sir. It is company policy that I must not enter a customers house". He keeps on asking me to go up the stairs with him. At this point I back off and call my manager to see what he says (even though I knew what the answer would be). He then walks back up the stairs and is walking weirdly and real slowly. From the top of the stairs he then says something along the lines of "why cant you help a disabled man and bring the pizza up the stairs. If you come up the stairs I will give you $40 and you can leave" (his order was like $23.50 or something). After about 5 mins he comes back down the stairs and hands me $40. When he was walking down the stairs he was real close to the wall and was kinda hiding what he had in his hands etc. At this point I just give him the pizza and change and got out of there. Another thing that made me think that something was off. There was a fresh pack of cigarettes sitting on a chair outside and there didn't seem to be another person living there. If they were his cigs, how come he can go down the stairs and have a smoke but he can't go get a pizza himself?
