Paolo Gentiloni, Italian foreign minister, appointed PM
Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who is 62 years old and also a loyalist from Mr. Renzi's Democratic Party, has been asked to form a government by the country's president, Sergio Mattarella. He has been looking for a replacement for centre-left PM Matteo Renzi, who resigned after losing a referendum on constitutional reform last week. Correspondents say that if he is successful in rallying support, a government could be formed in days. In a brief acceptance speech, Mr. Gentiloni said he realized the urgency of forming a government to reassure the country and that he would work within the framework of the previous administration, making it likely that he will reappoint several ministers.

Super Mario Run Mobile Game Requires Internet Connection

Do you love Mario, because you are not gamer if you don't know about Mario? Super Mario Run is going live next week on iOS (iPhone & iPad), great news for people who love classics and platformers, but there is a catch, you can play Super Mario Run only if you have active internet connection. The reasons behind this decision is:

Online storage for your save files and you can jump from iPad to your iPhone and continue to play.
In-game events that will offer players new challenges and rewards for a limited time.
To compete against other players in Toad Rally challenges.
And as a final reason - piracy - Nintendo and Miyamoto want to protect their game from piracy and cheaters like @arunforce that will ruin the scoreboards for other players. They want all to be on fair base for everyone.

You can forget about playing the game when you travel or wait for the bus if you don't have mobile internet access or WiFi near you.
Game price will be 9.99$ at the release date 12.15.2016.

New Chinese law forces game creators to release drop rates
An interesting new law is coming out from the Chinese government. This law that is set to roll out on May 1st, 2017 says that all video game makers will be compelled to reveal the odds of item drops from loot boxes, crates, cases ETC. So us gamer's will no longer have to have to guess or assume the odds of certain drops you might want, you actually get the numbers for all the drops up-front. Remembering that this is only a Chinese law currently, but this might have an effect on the whole world. This info will be available for anyone to see via media etc, so you will probably know the drop rates even if you are outside of China. The only way these game company's could contain it would be to make "china exclusive drop rates" or something to that extent, but this would sure enrage users around the world for obvious reasons. So that would be pretty improbable. For anyone curious here are the main bits of the new law, translated by "chillybright"

"2.6 ... Online game publishers shall promptly publicly announce information about the name, property, content, quantity, and draw/forge probability of all virtual items and services that can be drawn/forge on the official website or a dedicated draw probability webpage of the game. The information on draw probability shall be true and effective.
2.7 Online game publishers shall publicly announce the random draw results by customers on notable places of official website or in game, and keep record for government inquiry. The record must be kept for more than 90 days. When publishing the random draw results, some measures should be taken place to protect user privacy.
The law only applies in China, but it's not difficult to see how it could have an effect that goes well beyond its borders. The information will presumably be accessible to people outside of China, for one thing, so the drop rates of internationally available games will be known to all. It's possible that developers could establish drop percentages that are exclusive to China, but the optics would be so lousy that I can't imagine anyone actually doing it.

It's also not unreasonable to expect that the mere existence of the law will have at least some impact on studios who aren't bound by it. If players know the drop rates of "game A," and they think the rates of "game B" are lower, well, that's the sort of thing they might make some noise about. It might even become a selling point, as studios could attempt to draw in new players by promising better odds of getting high-value items. Knowing the odds won't improve them for individual drop, but it could spur developers to make them better overall—especially for games that are struggling to find an audience. "

Samsung Plans All-Screen Design for Galaxy S8
Once again Samsung has continued to push the envelope in the mobile phone industry by expanding their flagship phone to newer and greater heights. With the already popular Samsung Galaxy S7, the company wanted to make something that was better than ever before. With their innovative team behind the wheel, Samsung has decided to once again change up the display of the phone. In recent models, Samsung has expanded the display for their S7 model by wrapping the screen along the edges. This gave consumers a more immersive feel and added practicability with their display. Samsung's phones have already had high resolution displays so increasing the size should be no problem. Of course with the recent disaster with the Note 7's, Samsung will be looking to take back the throne and establish its dominance in the mobile phone industry once again.

Samsung's approach for the all new display is to decrease the bezel to as little as possible. Samsung is currently developing and testing out possibilities of creating a bezel-less phone. This means that the entire front facing side of the phone will be one complete and seamless display. Other necessitates such as a home button, camera, and speakers will be integrated along with the display. With a larger display, Samsung may increase the size of the overall phone. There hasn't been much news or confirmation about the phone's display yet; most of it is just rumors and speculation. Samsung plans on releasing the phone sometime next April or mid-summer.

Bluetooth 5 will bring higher speeds, better range and a focus on IoT
Bluetooth 5 was announced this week by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). According to them, it comes with a major performance improvement than the latest version.
It is said that this version of the wireless technology offers four times the range, twice the speed and eight times the data capacity. All of those upgrades are aiming to increase the importance of Bluetooth as a connected home’s standard. Some fixes are also included in the update in order to limit the interference with other wireless technologies.

To our surprise, the focus on audio wasn’t really big this time, considering the rapid pushing of wireless headphones and getting the standard jack to an end like the iPhone 7 device. This spec is all about the internet of things.” Bluetooth is revolutionizing how people experience the IoT. Bluetooth 5 continues to drive this revolution by delivering reliable IoT connections and mobilizing the adoption of beacons, which in turn will decrease connection barriers and enable a seamless IoT experience.” Said Mark Powell, Executive Director of the Bluetooth SIG.
According to the Bluetooth SIG, we can expect to see the first Bluetooth 5 device within two to six months.

4 Your Eyez Only - J. Cole
A lot of people have been waiting for this album for a long time. This album followed J. Cole's "2014 Forest Hills Drive". Of course J. Cole is known as the best storyteller in the rap game but this album brings something completely different to the table. The meaning of the title to this project isn't clear on first glance. It may not even be clear on your first full listen through, but it's a very sentimental one. The entirety of the album is a continuous story. Cole breaks on a few songs to talk about love and affection, but these songs still relate to the deeper story behind this album. The form of this album is immaculate after a listen through. There are 10 songs on this album and the first 9 can come off as some what confusing. After you listen to the 10th song they will all come together. In this album J. Cole talks of a friend of his named James McMillan Jr. It's unclear if McMillan is a fictional character or not, but it's important to know that it doesn't matter. The way the album is portrayed it doesn't make a difference if McMillan is real or fake. J. Cole is laying out a blueprint of what the community he grew up in was like. Young black males being incarcerated and gang violence (only subliminally referenced). The main character of the album, McMillan, knows he will not be living much longer. As a 19 year old with 2 felonies and violence seen ahead he tells J. Cole to write down his story and tell it to his daughter when she's old enough to hear it. This spawns the title "4 Your Eyez Only". McMillan asks Cole to save the story, keep it safe and locked away for his daughter when she reaches the right age. Although this isn’t revealed until the very end, the whole album sets up this theme. The opening track is titled in reference to funeral bells, and on the following song Cole assumes the role of a young man, McMillan, who sells drugs as a way to escape bumming. Deeper into the album we hear voice samples of McMillan's daughter talking about her father. This album is to be "the voice for the voiceless" as DreamVille's president tweeted out an hour before it's release.
I'm not going to give this album a number rating. The story throughout this album was carried through well and really sets an example of what it would be like in the situations Cole's protagonist, McMillan, experienced.
It's a Cole World.

Pree - Jazz Cartier
One of my favorite artists Jazz Cartier released a single this passed week. I was incredibly excited about this one myself. To sum it up the best I can it can only be related to an old school beat with new-age horror core elements. That being said the song itself is not horrorcore but it plays similar. The low tone adjustment to Cartier's voice and edgy lyrics produce a great dark vibe song. Jazz Cartier is relatively unknown currently. He possesses a very unique style I've yet to hear in new age rap. The song has heavy bass and background vocals along with it's slow melodic and dreamy old school beat. Personally it's my favorite song Cartier has released yet.
I give this single an 8 / 10. The song repeats itself a little too much, but it's still a great song from a great artist.

UK football sex abuse: 83 suspects and 98 clubs involved in inquiry

National Police Chiefs' Council are investigating allegations of widespread child sex abuse at soccer clubs, they had identified 83 potential suspects and possible links to 98 clubs. The investigation began when former professional footballer Andy Woodward told his story about being abused as a boy by a youth team coach, prompting other ex-professionals to come forward with more allegations. NPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) helpline, and police forces have received 639 referrals, involving about 350 potential victims.The investigation involves all levels of football, from amateur teams to top-level clubs. NPCC said that not all clubs whose names were mentioned to the police are under investigations. %98 of the identified victims are males, and their ages range from seven to twenty years old. The scary stories of abuse suffered by the former players, some of whom have broken down in tears in television interviews, have shocked Britain. This could be could be one of the sport's biggest crises, English soccer's governing body has launched an internal review into it, and promised that all its finding will be fully public.

Louisville's Lamar Jackson wins Heisman Trophy.
Louisville's star quarterback Lamar Jackson won the Heisman Trophy on Saturday. This is the 82nd Heisman winner in the trophy's history. This is the 1st Heisman winner for Louisville in its history. Jackson finished with 2,144 votes, and the runner up Clemson's Deshaun Watson finished with 1,524 votes. Despite Jackson's season ending nightmare, he was still able to pull through and win the trophy based on his first half of the season's performance. The Cardinals ended up 9-3 and will play in the Citrus Bowl on December 31st against LSU. Jackson finished with 51 touchdowns and 4,928 total yards on the season.
