[MPGH]Buddie: Hi Psychotic, thanks for taking your time to do an interview with us. How are you doing?
[MPGH]Psychotic: Oh no problem, happy to. I'm doing just fine -- and yourself?
[MPGH]Buddie: Pretty good, the good thing about this winter is the anime. My grades are dropping slightly a little, but it’ll turn out okay. Thanks for asking.
[MPGH]Psychotic: Of course! I know you're somewhat of a new staff member, so I hope that's been treating you well.
[MPGH]Buddie: How did you find MPGH? How was your experience here?
[MPGH]Psychotic: If I recall correctly I found MPGH, admittedly, looking for Combat Arms hacks. This was way back when because I still remember MPGH had the activity plugin where it showed how active a user was, awards and the like. Describing my experience? Fantastic would be an understatement. Once I actually registered to MPGH it wasn't long before I came Minecraft Minion for my first time as staff. I really enjoyed contributing to a section and assisting users. Fast forward to now and I'd say I'm doing quite well in the Marketplace; I'm eccentric about what I do.
[MPGH]Psychotic: Prior to me being Minion for the first time I actually created the MPGH News which was later formed as an official group on MPGH: News Force.
[MPGH]Buddie: And now that you’re a moderator, how do you feel about it? Any plans to become bigger :P?
[MPGH]Psychotic: I feel great! I can thank all of upper staff and administration, specifically @
Dave84311 and @
Liz, for the promotions. Looking at my signature now I went from Middleman to Marketplace Minion in less than 2 months, thereafter achieved M+ in a little over a month to Moderator in about a month and 8 days. I feel accomplished but no matter the position I hone my responsibility to the Marketplace remains the same. It's not up to me to become "bigger" I just know as time goes on I will continue to dedicate my time to banning scammers and keeping the Marketplace clean.
[MPGH]Buddie: Great answer. If there is one thing you can do to improve the marketplace section, What would it be? Do you think there will be a need to improve? Or it’s just the fine the way it is.
[MPGH]Psychotic: Interesting question because there are things I am in the process of improving. When I first started out the Marketplace had no "blacklist" system -- well, we did except it was outdated and never used, if it was, it wasn't used properly so I completely revamped the blacklist system (credit to God Ravallo) into the "Marketplace Bans" you see today. Nothing is fine just the way it is there's always room for improvement but that's not to say I'm not content with where the Marketplace is. I'd like to figure out a way to make the eBooks section a bit more autonomous or 'easier' to maintain because evaluating ebooks is difficult depending on the staff member reviewing them and their background, experience, knowledge, etc. If a Middleman gets promoted and has never social engineered in their life or learned about PPA, CPA, ... it's hard to dictate if an ebook should or shouldn't be sold considering the majority of ebooks are social engineering related (to some extent).
[MPGH]Buddie: Any update about the middleman system? As far as I know, it was temporarily removed for almost a year now if I recall. Ever since then no middleman have been talking about it in depth anymore.
[MPGH]Psychotic: To be honest, I'm unsure. I wish I could say more. Our escrow abilities are still disabled.
[MPGH]Buddie: Well, lets keep it a surprise for everyone. Next question, can you tell us what to you do when you’re away from MPGH?
[MPGH]Psychotic: What takes up all my time other than MPGH? University, girlfriend and working out. My game of choice is definitely Diablo 3 and sometimes Overwatch.
[MPGH]Buddie: What about sports? I’ve seen you talk about Conor McGregor in group chat. Do you watch his fight just to learn from him and beat up Wyo? Cause he need some beating.
[MPGH]Psychotic: I wrestled in high school but I don't do any sports. I consider academics to be my sport, I always have. And yes, credit to Hero, Arunforce and Dave for getting me into UFC for the most part, I heard them talk about it a lot and that's what influenced me to start watching it. I'm not nearly as jaded in terms of UFC as them.
[MPGH]Buddie: Alright, before we wrap this up, is anyone you would like to mention?
[MPGH]Psychotic: Shoutout to everyone who knows they would get a mention from me if I took the time to type them all out.
[MPGH]Buddie: Thank you for your time again. It was a pleasure to interview a mod.
[MPGH]Psychotic: Thanks for the interview, appreciate. I really enjoyed it
