I don't think that's the issue. I think it's that many of them expect to be treated better or put on a pedestal simply because they are girls. There have been a decent amount of girls on MPGH in the past, and they were pretty fine here since they didn't expect any of that and understood what kind of place the internet actually is.

The internet is this way because there are no physical consequences like real life (usually) and communities outside well moderated forums treat being a socially inept asshole as normal even if they also hate the constant harassment, slurs, bullying, etc. Settling doesn't lead to progress thus current year still shitty internet.

So FlyingNeko all I can say is keep being you, whatever that is, and try to find a community/group of friends who will have your back while gaming if it gets too irritating alone.
