    What happens if I start a refund for someone, then they stop replying to me?

    This has happened a few times recently and is getting really annoying. I've had to start the work and then never get paid for it.

    tell the company so they can get fucked. just fuck up the refund on purpose even if you did it already call in and say you found the package or whatever.

    don't let them use you. and report so they can get banned/pay you to not get banned.

    the whole "I have your info and will report it to your local police" can help

    Well, it's easy. If it's in process just tell the company that you found your item/it got delivered. They should cancel the refund process.

    Keep getting updates on the status of the refund if it goes thru go ahead and tell the person that you have contacted the store and have provided them their information and that they are getting police involved. do this if they do not reply to you stating the order has been completed and the amount is due. Give it some time as some people are actually really busy but always keep an eye out on it.

    I would just do it and if the person keeps ignoring then ruin it, if you just ruin it they may come back and tell you fuck you I was sick and some other bullshit and also put negative feedback on you while you would not be able to do something. In general it is rare for someone to ignore completely if you email them and tell them you will rebill them. All these years I only had to go that far for around 10 cases maybe

    tell them if they don't reply by X number of days you will not be able to complete the refund.

    or just completed the refund and then do as I said above if they never pay.

    You can discuss beforehand with the buyer that if he goes inactive for x amount of time you will stop working on the order, since you are not getting paid upfront either unless the buyer is actively in correspondence you don't have any incentive to complete their work imo
