Help me please

I downloaded the mpgh hacks and extracted it. then i put the 4 files in the combatarms folder. I aslo downloaded the d/c fixer and put it in there to. Ive done all the instructions and stuff, but when i tried to start Combatarms using the d/c fixer, combatarms stopped working, and was closed. it wasnt like this before, the most recent patch , which was on 1/14/09 ( it actually worked before the patch perfectly fine).
Please helpe me
