My default M16a3 to M41ACQB mod

this first mod i've released

i have always been good with files and mods of files

i requested a good mod for the default m16 but havent seen one i like yet

this is a simple mod that changes all the attributes of your stock m16 to the M41ACQB

this is not just a simple skin mod its fire rate/damage/portabilty etc. changed

nice to have a better default weapon,, saves spending more GP
(i didnt change the apperance of gun in the 'outfitting' screen but you will see it in game until you die, when dropped on ground it changes back to default apperance)

the files included will have to be injected into your GUNS_M_PV_AR.rez
if your not sure how to do this you need to read the tuts on modding.

hmmm if you notice, the screenie is one of the downloads.. hey! go to a image hoster and post the image, we cant really download it

Go to photobucket and make an account, upload picture, then copy the IMG CODE, and paste it in post, and there you go, go and do it now if you want it approved.

Otherwise this sounds good..hopefully its not a small version though..

You say it's to the m416CQB, but its actually to the m4a1, as the filename suggests.

Methinks you didn't make this.

i named that zip m4a1.. its m4a1cqb i just got lazy when i named the zip=
and yes i did make this this is not that big of a deal..
and as far as size.. this is not the complete guns.rez its only the 4 files that need injected into it.

if you want to know what i did...
i took the 4 files from the m4a1CQB and renamed them m16a3
then injected then into the guns rez.
if you dont know how to inject them i can add the full guns.rez also

and the jpg is not that impressive its just a dang m4a1CQB but at bottom of pic you see its a m16a3

Uhh bro, DUDE when i downloaded this, it had the skin of the M416 CQB, but its as weak as DEFAULt wep.

its the m4a1 cqb and it does do more damage than stock m16 mabe not alot but all the files are from the m41a cqb so i am positative does more damage.
i use the scope mod (sniper scope) and kinda like this gun..
now i didnt go into the gun sounds and change that.. it would sound better if i had changed to m41a ,, but thats just cosmedic..
i just wanted a more powerful default gun to replace the m16a3..
i'll fool with it again mabey try the l85 to default it be more powerfull..
thing is i didnt want much recoil..
i am a m16 man,, i could make it the m416.. but the m416 cqb has an attached scope and that fxd meh up.
