Warrock in window mode somehow
Well i know that it laggs and whatever but i've just got an awsome piece of ram 4 GB kingston DDR2 (2) which makes it 8 GB and i want to try WR in window mode so can someone please tell me a tip for that. I mean changing stuff inthe .cfg file?

thx
what kind of video/graphics card do you have in your computer???

is it motherboard based or a upgraded card that you installed???

Random Access Memory
(RAM) provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU (central processing unit). When people refer to a computer's memory, they usually mean its RAM.

If you add more RAM to your computer, you reduce the number of times your CPU must read data from your hard disk. This usually allows your computer to work considerably faster, as RAM is many times faster than a hard disk.

RAM is volatile, so data stored in RAM stays there only as long as your computer is running. As soon as you turn the computer off, the data stored in RAM disappears.

When you turn your computer on again, your computer's boot firmware (called BIOS on a PC) uses instructions stored semi-permanently in ROM chips to read your operating system and related files from the disk and load them back into RAM.
your ram (random access memory) is good for your computers' overall memory and performance.

ram doesn't always matter when it comes to a upgraded video/graphics card.
(most upgrade cards these days have their own ram installed on them)

the recommended ram for warrock is "only" 2 gigs.

the recommended video/graphics card is Radeon 9200, GeForce FX5700 or better.

if i were you, i wouldn't mess with the msconfig files.

that could corrupt any/all system restore points or system rescue possibilities in the future.

(BTW* warrock is designed for full screen gaming)

yes - i am a little nerdy.... lol
so your suggestion is that i don't change anything and continue playing WR in full screen but isn't there any way? a software or something which is not that harmful?

Well this was all i could find:

-Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
-Approx. Total memory: 512.0 MB

well its attached on the motherboard, not a separete hardware.

thx
warrock is designed to display into full screen mode.

all of the controls (keyboard & mouse) work differently when the game is running.

are you trying to have a window open with warrock running in it, play the game, and surf the internet???

i tried that when i 1st started playing warrock 2+ years ago and to me, it seemed very impossible.

if you try to jump back and forth between playing the game and surfing the internet, the controls will have to switch back and forth too.

i don't think they can actually do that in "real time".

i'm saying that when you play the game - the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse change functions for the game.

when i play warrock - my screens' resolution changes completely.

if you push the "windows button" on your keyboard while playing warrock, you will notice that your computer switches from the game functions back to normal. (the monitors' resolution might switch too - mine does*)

you can't play the game that way.
(it will have to switch back again*)

i hope this cleared things up for you!

Merry Christmas!!!
