CSGO PC FPS Issues

Ok my pc specs are:

- Geforce GTX 780
- Intel core i5 4670k
- 8gb ram
-1920x1080
-Version 358.50
- Microsoft windows 8

The max fps im getting is between 170 - 280. Its always suppose to be beyond 300 when i cap it. But for some reason its not.

I set settings to low and play on 4:3 1280x960.

What's wrong with having 170+ fps? You don't even notice the difference, so I wouldn't really say this is an "issue"

He clearly told that the monitor doesn't refresh properly, so 60 fps ingame don't mean 60 fps on screen

Its never that way.. And I've seen this video like 4 to 6 times already, barely makes any difference.

omg.. my fps only 60...

Yet I'm sitting here with 40 FPS, 4:3 resolution and not even complaining...

My monitor is 4:3. Getting around 40 - 60 fps. Everything lowest. Complaining every single day but ain't doing shit to get money for a new pc. Life 2k15.

i dont need a new pc i already have 3 gaming pc. What im saying is that i use to get the maximum of 300 but not its like dropping.

I never said you needed a new PC. I know what you mean lol.
Maybe your HDD is getting clogged up with stuffs. Tried defragmenting it? Maybe even a format. I always like to format my PC once every few months. It's fun to start fresh and it usually only takes me half a day to get everything back to normal...

Update your GPU drivers or reinstall the game
