HELP modding!

I crossmod all the time and its easy as heck. Its VERY easy, its basically the same thing as modding with the same class.

Well how! I try exactly the same as a normal mod it never works! it always fails. Ok

I know its a little to much of me to ask this, but If u can show how you would cross-mod these..

with these files:

K2
K2_ANIBASE.LTB
PVMLA_W_K2.LTB
PVMLA_K2.LTB
PVMSH_K2.LTB
CM_HND_SP_DF_K2_CH.LTB


What files would you rename to what? simply renaming all the K2 ones the to the M60 one and injecting it dnt work (this always works for me on same-class modding, and all my mods are based like that)..




could you please take a look and say here what files you would swap and rename for it to work. It would be greatly appreciated

*cough* Hex edit *cough* Hex editing is a much more thorough way than renaming. Justsoyaknow. Just sometimes, crossmodding doesn't work. No explanation. Just. Doesn't. Work.

I use ur hex editing idea ^^ used it a while now, Program "Hed Editor Neo, Free version"

Hehe. ;3 Well, I tried to crossmod with renaming, it didn't work, I just thought... Might aswell try to hex edit, and it worked... No idea why.

Hey, I'm just the person who tests the mods and gives positive feedback. I help peeps with what I know. But I can't mod. End of Line. People like me are not meant for it. Maybe it's easy for you, maybe it isn't. I just know some people can do it, and a LOT of people ask how.

I help, I mod, I give helping mods, I teach, I learn, I tell people what they need to do to fix up they're thread, point out mistakes.... Where are you getting at? You help, I help. Big whoop. Now. I am currently the only mod maker for CAEU :P kinda fasinating really but is really annoying considering every 5 minutes i get PM's from people asking how..


Ive made some pretty impressive mods but all are only same-class mods. Need someone to tell me what Cross-Mod files i need editing!


I've also tried using hex to edit them but still failed, what to guns did u use?

I used M9 to Minigun, I made it before Corndog released it, but I don't really care about that, my greatest one was L9 to M92fs. Which no, I won't release, too overpowerd... and the fact I lost it.

I'd still like sosodistinct to take a look at this ^^ sorry for posting it again

Change those to K2, skip the Ani_g or anibase, those don't matter. if it doesn't work then it doesn't.
