The only stat i change and never get dc is the att.
Any number less than 30 worked fine.
But with the dbow the thing is different because you get to kill with one shot at the godlands and will eventualy do the "phantom" god bug and will dc.
I believe that with chests it will work great.
a hotkey that changes the status (X) to a predetermined number (X) would be great.

He was referring to speed i believe, the other stats work differently, other people have said that increasing attack to about 20-30 above your stat works fine
Att is the only (on my tests) that you can play with no worries.

Next time go to oryx and set your att to 10000.
See what happens.
