REZ files

hey guys, im from the combat arms section and im wondering if anyone knows how to open up rez files in sudden attack. if someone could share this info it would be much appreciated and would take modding to whole new levels. also if anyone has managed to extract the files and does not want to tell us how could u upload the model files of the guns.

corndog can only extract combat arms rez files, our rez extractor dosnt work on sudden attack

im not %100 sure we can cross modd between ca on sa but i think it should work

hey, im not an expert in skinning but in SA if u want to edit the dtx files within the rez files, there is only 1 way(for now). You have to download a modified gvi file to replace within the SA folder, so that next time when u launch SA, u force it to repatch itself. So during the *patching* process, when it says "uploading" you go to run->%temp%. Now,u have to find the hidden SA folder which just appeared and it is named by 8 random letters. After find the folder, all the SA_weapon or SA_tex stuff will be in dtx mode. There u can replace stuff or edit them with photoshop.

I know i suck at explaining sutff zzzz. btw I play SANA and weapon and map skins works.

done that dosnt work

uhh, u gotta tell me what doesnt work or else i cant help u -__-. Btw this way works 100% if done correctly for all servers, this is how all skin makers made SA skins.

problem is that i dont need dtx files, i need the model files
