Binary, Logic, and Memory
Chapter 0.2 - 0.4
Approx. 30 pages
This covers Binary and Hexidecimal numbers and converting between the two. It includes a lesson on logic which I found boring, but also includes a chapter on memory which I found very interesting.
NOTE: This book was written in 1989 so I'm not sure how up to date it is, but it does use the 8086 processor. however it may not incorporate Windows NT concepts. in fact im pretty sure it doesn't.
Anyway covering these at about one a day. I hope to learn enough about asm so that I can move into Windows asm with Izchelion's (cant spell the name) tutorials.
Anyway just trying to take bits and pieces right now and make a course of study for myself. Next chapter I will create my first asm program. Hopefully anyone following me can give me advice on wether I have the right approach. If not I find my way around. Hopefully I can catch up with you in a bit David. :P
We could help each other out.
