I was just wondering, would nexon ban an account with a similar name and password to another?
(Note that these are the things that you put into the Login screen, and not the account ID of the character in game)
For example
Account ID:
Mario
Password:
theman
Account ID:
Mario2
Password:
theman
Let's say that Mario2 is a hacking account at like, SSG, while Mario is a completely legit account with a 2LT. If I were to do hacking on Mario2, would that put my other account up for a ban/suspension/demotion as well?

i dont think so cause nexon needs proof to ban u so if they did do that they could be in a LOT of trouble
they would check the ip for both acc. if they wanted to ban both
No, you would not get banned. I know from experience. I made one account and hacked until i got banned. Then i made an account with the almost exact username and had the same password, and was legit on it. I haven't gotten banned on that account in 2 years.
No i don't think they can. I got my hacking acc banned and the username and pass were sort of similar to my main and it hasn't been banned.

if you were hacking in beta you wouldnt get banned cos it doesnt have hackshield for shit.

Nexon might check the IP of that hacking account, and anything registered under that IP could be suspended aswell. Depending on how badly you've been hacking, sort of like 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns. The worse you hack, the worse the punishment.
