[Help] Model changing.

I am following Nameurdeath's guide to Cross Modding.
I am trying to get the M590 CQB to be the SPAS-12.
I get the PVMLA of the Spas-12, and the M590 CQB ANIBASE. I rename the M590 CQB ANIBASE to the PVMLA_SPAS12, and inject it into GUNS_M_SG or whatever, and backup the original. Then I change GUNS_M_SG or whatever to .rez instead of .rezNew. I go in game with my Spas-12, and it just looks camouflaged, no model changing whatsoever. Help?
Yes I am positive I hit _M, not _T.
I also tried this with the UZI to M16A3 like in the thread, except nothing at all happens to the M16A3.
Any ideas?

Same for me and nobody figure it out why...

I can get Shotguns to Shotguns, etc, but I cannot cross mod. Anyone help?

If you are trying to get m590, you need to rename the SPAS_PVMLA to the m590 anibase not the other way around

Who the hell tries to crossmod with the same class of guns, heck thats not even crossmodding!
