Hey guys I've heard from a couple guys that the GameStop method is patched? Usually I'd save screenshots of the coupons etc $25,$15,$10 and they'd always take it. Just wondering if anyone tried it this week? Is it still working? Really wanna get a external hard drive and a game

I tried last February with the coupon on my phone and they said they needed to verify that it was really me. Told them I could use my mates balance and they didn't go through with it.

Last I tried was like early April and it worked
I tried it about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it still worked for me. IDK bout you guys.

It still works, you just need to be smarter this time around. Follow these steps and you should be dandy.
1). After you redeem the certificates, go to account information and change the name and phone number to your own. Just make sure you write down what it said before. Why do this? It is better to change it to a phone number you already have memorized so that you don't have to "check your own number" when they ask for it. It's a flag they might note. The name change is for obvious reasons, see step 3.
2). Go to addresses and remove every single address you see on there, including the gamestop primary address. Why remove them? Because the employees at gamestop will be able to see them and may comment on how far away from home you are. This may lead to questions and if you fuck up, they will deny you.
3). Carry an ID with you. A lot of stores are now asking for ID so they can verify that the account is yours. If you did step 1 correctly, the account is now in your name and has an empty address slot for both your house and the primary gamestop. When they ask for your ID, they will input the address on your card into the account.
4). After you buy your thing at the store, go back into the account and change the name and phone number back to what it was before. Lastly, remove any new address the employee might have put. Doing this will allow you to use your name and phone number for another account for when you want to do this again in the future.

Thanks for answering man but what if I'm a minor and I don't have a ID?
School card, bus pass, etc. or get a fake ID xD Rather than that just bring your parent's along/older sibling,cousin, etc.
I have a question if anybody knows or has experience from doing this. Can you buy multiple games with one $50 certificate? because it says you can only buy one thing with it which i thought was really weird. Also can you only buy games?
You can buy only one item worth up to 90$ in coupons (50$,25$,15$). You can but anything physical in the store, no gift cards or points/currency like psn or xbox currency cards.

Yea just make bus pass or some kind of work pass up with that name . Be alot easier than an ID if you ask me and we'll if they push for an ID just bs your way thru it ( DUI , don't want to walk home and get it , blah blah blah )
