[FSoD] Loot Thresholds
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, cuz I really didn't know where to put it. I thought it should be in the help section, but I have no clue. I'm just hoping I'm right. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello, I've been developing a PServer for awhile now. I've been doing great, fixing problems as they come and what not, but I do have a question. While messing with drop rates, I noticed something. When a loot table starts, you see one of these two:
Code:
                new MostDamagers(number,
or
Code:
                new Threshold(number,
Now MostDamagers is pretty simple, it's just how much of the most damaging players will get it (I think anyways, I could easily be wrong). However I don't understand the Threshold one. It throws me off a bit, because they're usually something like 0.025 or weird numbers like that. I would like to learn more about this so that I can develop it a bit better. Thanks.

TL;DR
What's the number after Threshold in loot tables do?
The number after Threshold is normally the percentage of damage a player needs to do to qualify for the loot listed below it, the numbers after the loot is the percentage to get the loot after qualifying percentage (threshold) is met. An example of this would be a threshold of 0.025 which means that the player needs to do at least 2.5% damage to the entity to qualify for the extra loot.

Take this with a grain of salt though, I may end up being completely wrong

Thanks this answered me perfectly.

I'm not a pro but I think it's like this.

new Threshold(0.5,
new ItemLoot("Potion of Wisdom", 0.1),
new ItemLoot("Sword of acclaim", 0.005)
)

Think like this, you have a 50% chance of being able to get anything within the bolded brackets and then you have 10% of getting a Wisdom and 0.5% chance of getting an acclaim.
Pros, correct me if I'm wrong.
