[TUT] How to mod scopes! *Noob friendly!*

yea I swapped all my scopes for sniper scope a while back
the magnification doesn't change, but for crappy precision scopes like g36e and red dots, it helps a lot in aiming.
also I could recognize all the scope files except for red dot scope #4
i know 1 is acog, 2 is itech, 3 is hds, but whats 4?
I haven't tried crossmodding it yet so don't know

sos please help. How do you get the COD scopes onto the ACOG ones? please show me.


P.S it does work with PS its just the transperancy. those black lines ziz zagging down the scope background.

you can
1)do it all by yourself, referring to a screenshot of the cod scopes
2)get a screenshot of the cod scope you want, open it with paint. you should see 2 pictures in the top right. get the box tool, select only the important parts, and then copy and paste it into the acog picture. erase any leftover stuff that you dont want from the cod scope that were included in the box and then center it as much as possible. youll have to move around the picture and inject several times before you do center it.

Quick question for the scope modders, what happens when you remove the texture files of the scopes? Is all that happens in game is that you right click and then it zooms in without any other obstructions or red dot, or are there other problems that arise?
