Need some internet help.

Hello MPGH, i'm at a loss and i'm looking for some help dealing with my internet.

This issue has started happening recently, for about the past day.

My Upload speed will jump from around 0.02 mbs up to around 0.90 and stay within this area. When it usually would stay around 8 mbs to 9 mbs. Since it is what we pay for. I'm not sure why it is doing this, and our router doesnt have a "firmware upgrade" page, so I cannot do any upgrades to it, i'm pretty sure our ISP does it from their business. I currently own a HITRON router and we pay for the highest available package. This makes it very difficult to stream, play online games, or even use to skype to stay in contact with people. We will probably have to contact them soon if I cannot find a answer. If anyone has any tips on how to try and fix this, please let me know.

Call your ISP and tell them to fix it.

Also that's very fast compared to a lot of peoples internet so I think you should be happy for what you have.

EDIT: Also your "Vote For trump" title is stupid.
You're complaining about something the person you're voting for said. And he said that he would shut down internet. Witch is stupid just like him. Here comes the hate for pointing out a fact.

I wasn't talking about my download speed, for which I am happy to have. But the Upload speed on the other hand is very slow compared to what other people have. I can barely do anything with that speed since it fluctuates around 0.02 most of the time.

Same thing. Call your ISP. They should be able to fix it. It's either faulty hardware or their system is for some reason throttling your upload speed.

I know he was talking about upload.
If you read my post you would notice I was taking about his internet in general not just his download. As a lot of people still have slow upload including myself.

Its either your ISP fucking up or your modem/router needs to be upgraded.

Seeing that you have 85 upload, I say the only logical explanation is your ISP

I will probably do that tomorrow.

Faulty router, your ISP will replace it.
