I prefer the look of sketchy style cuz idk I feel it looks better than with fixed lines, but I am confused on how the shading works.

Well mostly with a sketchy style you do more basic drawing EG: rough line arting or a less detailed drawing because thats just what fits it.

There isn't a whole lot of dark/deep shading with a style like that. But if you were to do it you would do a pure black and just dip it all and in the edges you would have a scratchy look to it.

Here's some shitty examples that will get the point across. on the general idea of what to do. (none are mine)

Well with a cleaner drawing it just looks a lot more professional and you can do a lot more with the drawing in terms of shading/ colouring so yeah. But I always start my drawing with a sketch and either erase and go over or use a new peice of paper.

I just didn't like a lot your wallpaper of Naruto ( i think it's Naruto o.o)

Yo what if im really good at sketching with pencil irl but i am absolute trashhhh on pc? how do i like start i guess? (idk if this even is a question XD)

Well it really depends, What kind of drawing tablet / drawing equipment are you using and what program are you drawing with first.

Idk what should i use? i have no tablet or anything :P but i might get one

You need a drawing tablet to do anything nice on pc.

I recomend a wacom tab.
