"MPGH Escrow Service - This would allow automation and safety for both sellers and buyers. Paypal does a bad job at protecting sellers. MiddleMan (MM) is manually operated, while it does a very good job in reducing scam incidents, it does not provide an efficient method of escrow. Manual escrow requires high maintenance to operate and the fees will not be as low as automated escrows.
Automation saves time, money and resources, while also providing a decent service, sometimes better than manual escrows by MM. I would suggest an automation escrow with a little manual supervision by MMs.
This feature would prevent many scams that are happening rampantly since the birth of this forum. Although things like PayPal Chargebacks are unavoidable if the buyer decides to do so, what we can do is try our best to control the situation. For example, Nik selling that eBook to MasterYoda71 could be avoided if there was an Escrow Service or MM involved.
This is just one example of what an escrow service can do, but I hope that once the service is implemented, more improvements will be implemented to allow smoother transactions to take place, especially in large amounts.
