Probably an easy fix

So sorry if this is really easy, but I'm not good with all these programs and coding and stuff so I'm wondering, I got most of the things to work for the Fabion's swagger of doom master private server, I'm trying to only host it for me, and I got it all going. I register, and I connect but then as I'm connecting it says, "Connection failed! Retrying..." but it never works. What did I do wrong? D: I'm just tryna' practice some realm. It'd be cool if I got some 1 on 1 help because that's the easiest and the way I prefer, my skype is: Jooeyboy1 Post here if you add me so I know because my skype isn't on. Otherwise, if it's a really simple fix just go ahead and post, thank you so much in advance.
