Here is the a lot requested name changer that works on Steam/SC version of GTA V.

How to use:
-DO NOT CHANGE NAME IN SINGLEPLAYER MODE!
-Join to a lobby, change your name with the Connect-V Name Changer
-Change session and your name should have changed for the server.

I did NOT make this hack, all credit goes to zedr0

i test it on steam, only changue your name in the chat.

your name is changed only on the chat, after restart de game your name will restore

ok ive been using it since it came out and you have to join an online session change your name and click the change name button a few times then join your friend or another session and it will change your name in the eyes of everyone else but will show your name too you when you get kills or in any lists with your name in it but every one else sees your name you changed it too.

Hope this Helped anyone having problems or doubts. p.s. ask someone to tell you your name in chat and they will confirm if it worked or not

every hack or cheat has a risk of you being banned if you don't want to get banned don't use cheats

I knew i'd get that same smartass remark. It would make more sense if I wasn't asking a reasonable question. I'm simply asking the risk in people's opinions. I'm a modder and I accept the baseline risk but there are some mods riskier than others.

It is undetectable so the only risk you have is to get reported. Just don't put your name as something suspicious and you should be fine.

Please also mention the other alias on the credits called "JX", that's me who made this also known as zedr0 on UC.
