What is vcc and what do I use it for? Sorry I'm still new to all this!
Virtual credit card, can be used for PayPal,amazoz,etc.

Can also be considered a pre-paid credit card if you have any IRL.
They can be used for SE processes. For example, if you want a advance replacement (we will send you your stuff while you send your stuff to us) they will ask you to provide a credit card in case your item does not get to them. If your item doesn't, they will have the option to bill your credit card for the amount the item is worth. Its basically a collateral. If you provide them with a VCC, the card will get charged but since there's nothing on it and its not linked to your name, you a pretty much free.

Another use for a VCC is to verify a PayPal account. One of PayPal's requirements is to have a credit card linked to your account. Usually a VCC will fulfill this requirement.
The ideology behind this is the same. If you go into the negatives, PayPal will have options to bill your credit card. If you have a VCC, the problem is solved and you are not effected if you don't use your real information.
