just go to the bank and they usually always help, just say i lost my wallet then found it a week later at lost and found

i don't think thats going to work ...

All you have to do is choose wisely either it was unauthorized transactions or you paid someone for merchandise and it was never delivered.

Contact PayPal and say it was unauthorised. Since you've been buying from him before say I've bought a couple times each from him before but this time when I logged in I saw a $440 transaction to him... Act like you can't believe this and say when you contacted him he isn't replying. It doesn't matter if it's same ip. Most hacked paypals get the actual owners ip so you should get a refund.

my bank says i need to contact VISA and they will do a investigation for this matter

paypal wouldve been a easier route

Literally tell them you tried paying for some starbucks cards online and when you "received the codes" they were all worth $0. They'll charge him back and you'll be fine. Don't see the big panic here?

I wouldn't claim unauth if you have done multiple transactions over an extended period of time.
