Will i grow?

I'm a 17 old male and i'm 175 cm but i want to be at least 180cm, is it possible i will reach this height when i'm older?, i was looking at grow decay charts and it says males tend to grow very little after 16. I know its dependant on genetics, but for you guys, did you notice a dramatic change in height change from when you were 17 to when you turned 20? and is there anything i can do to help me grow in height? i dont wanna be stuck at 175 its so short for a guy

My father is about the same height as me ( a bit shorter) and my mother is about 10 (give or take) cm shorter than me.

You can never really tell with things like this.

Growth spurts are pretty random and since you're only 17, there's still time for you to grow. My uncle was around 5' 4" when he entered college and by the time he graduated he was around 6' 0"

Even if i grew 5cm i'd be happy

You're entirely normal.

Your doctor should be able to tell you if your growth plates have closed and you've hit maximum height however they usually determine this based off of growth trends. If you've stagnated or plateaued it's more than likely you will remain the height you're at or at best grow another ~2 inches.

About that, do i need to take an xray or something and show it to the doctor or can they just tell from other tests?
