C++ | Python | Java

I'm studying c++ in school but a lot of people are telliing me that i won't be using it in the mere future.
Should I invest time in java or python first? People said that both will be important and i'm curious which is better to learn first

C++ isn't going anywhere any time soon. Even if it was neither java or python would be replacing it. The new and cool c++ alternatives are both rust and go golang it seems.

C++ and Java are the most common languages out there. Many people with no experience find Java's syntax easier to understand. Honestly, just commit to learning any language and master it. It takes a lot of discipline and dedication...

Keep learning C++ with what you have got so far. Once you've finished learning it mastering other languages will become easier.

You should Invest time into python only if you are interested in security and see your future as a defense programmer or white hat, but you should also pick up Ruby if that is the case.
Everyone needs to know Java or NodeJS. It is widely accepted and unavoidable.

I've done Python prior to doing OOB - Java. Both are straightforward and easy to understand. Have not tried C++ yet as I'm doing some .NET stuffs currently.

Depends on what you want to do in the future. Python is good in general because you can use it for all kinds of things, it's used at lots of startups, and it's a quick jump from Python to Ruby or JS. Java is used at a lot of big companies and some startups, but is kind of out of fashion at the moment. Java code can be a lot faster than Python code, though.

If you really master C++, you'll have a really easy time learning Java and a pretty easy time learning Python.

Go on learning C++, its a big Language and you can do nearly everything with it!
