C++ | Python | Java

I'm studying c++ in school but a lot of people are telliing me that i won't be using it in the mere future.
Should I invest time in java or python first? People said that both will be important and i'm curious which is better to learn first

C++ isn't going anywhere any time soon. Even if it was neither java or python would be replacing it. The new and cool c++ alternatives are both rust and go golang it seems.

Keep learning C++ with what you have got so far. Once you've finished learning it mastering other languages will become easier.

Depends on what you want to do in the future. Python is good in general because you can use it for all kinds of things, it's used at lots of startups, and it's a quick jump from Python to Ruby or JS. Java is used at a lot of big companies and some startups, but is kind of out of fashion at the moment. Java code can be a lot faster than Python code, though.

If you really master C++, you'll have a really easy time learning Java and a pretty easy time learning Python.

Whoever said that is oblivious to the real programming world and doesn't know what they're talking about. C++ is used almost everywhere. C++ isn't going anywhere any time soon due to its high use. If you don't learn it now, you'll regret it.
