Gold Exploit Finding

Excuse my bad grammar, but let's see the Exploit as a reseller right? Deca sells 16k gold for 100 and you sell you 16k gold for 10 which only 5 are for them, and 5 for you, you actually think they dont care? Allowing this method will just make everyone use it and you think they'll be like "oh yeah we still getting 5 bucks out of it dont do anything."

I didn't read the whole thread cause its fucking long, but I think what riigged is trying to say is that the people who buy from gold exploiters would not otherwise have bought that much gold. That is, the buyer would not have bought, say, 80k gold at the regular price. Hence, there is no potential profit to lose.

It's the same argument as piracy vs stealing items physically from a store. For piracy, the business is not losing money, as people argue, because the pirate would never legitimately purchase the pirated item, whereas when somebody steals something, the business looses the cost of production no matter what.
