RotMG Auto response.
Does anyone know/have a program that has an automatic response to a message? For instance, someone messages a player with this Plug In "Hello!" and the player automatically responds with "Hello there!" or something along those lines. I just had a question on this because I have a bot that I want to make respond to questions, think about it like RealmEye, when you message Mreyeball a certain message he responds with a remade message.
Use KRelay. It shouldn't be difficult at all if you have the tiniest of coding experience.
Thanks for the advice, but, I have hear of KRelay and don't really think that is what I need. I am unaware of how to use it, I only need this for my guild. Just a little bot that responds to a question, that's all.
I am having a problem with getting KRelay to work with the RotMG Flash Projector, Do I have to use a different client to run my game in order to get KRelay working?
You need a cracked client or something with proxy server.
Any actual clients? I heard of ORape, not sure if it is what I need though.

I am actually having lots of trouble even getting the program to work, when I downloaded KRelay I opened it and found out it needed a Proxy Server to run, I downloaded ORape and when I entered the Proxy Server with KRelay on Start Proxy and Running, It gave me a disconnection everytime followed with the following text. "Socket-Server Protocol Error: Error: Error #2030", "Connection failed! Retrying...". Even though it did say "Connected!" it would immediately give me that text above. And it does this every time, I made sure KRelay had Start Proxy on and Running and it did, I can't seem to fix this. Any ideas?

Not difficult at all can be too difficult for others.

What are you trying to achieve? Auto responders tend to be quite unhuman-like, basically telling others that you're using a respond bot.
I'm guessing it's for the truthbomb bot
CrazyJani First of all, you have an awesome profile picture, second, what I am after is to have a bot. It is meant to be a bot, it even has "Bot" in its name. What I am trying to achieve is for the bot to have an AUTOMATIC response when a certain command that is messaged to it. Like I said before, think of it like Mreyeball, when you message that bot a command that it is familiar with it has an automatic response. Mreyeball is a extremely advanced bot though sense it can detect statistics of your character, I don't need that much of an advanced bot, just a simple bot that sits in a area where players cant get to (Like it's vault.) and spew off certain messages if you /tell it something. Just for a certain guild thing, what I am currently trying to create (And failing.) Is a menu with two text boxes, the first text box allows you to write what the bot must receive in order to say what you have written in the second box. This is probably a very difficult application to program but, I am trying.
I started making something like this but never got around to finishing it because i lost interest. My initial intention was for the plugin to be used as an auto-reply for things like in cem and saying "ready" or in ot and replying to thessal. But obviously it could be used for replying to any message. I was going to call it "T.A.T - Text Auto-Trigger". The basic idea being that you could create a "trigger" based on a few different variables, and if those variables were met it would reply.

I think i had just finished creating the GUI for the settings, where you would create the "triggers". The last thing needing to be done was to check every text packet to see it if matched any of the triggers that were setup:

The variables for each trigger were the text senders name, the text, and the current map you are in. And all of them could either be exact matches or just contain the word entered (or no word supplied so it wasnt checked). If all conditions were met, it would send the text entered in the reply box. And the plan was to make the reply text use replaceable words so you could fill in things like the senders name, that way you could whisper whoever set off the trigger. Just stuff like that.

Like i said though, i stopped working on this because i lost interest. If you want the project source just let me know and ill upload it as an attachment. The only thing left to do really would be to check the text packets and see if they match a trigger. Wouldnt take too much work honestly.
You have started creating everything that I need, from your description I think it can be possible to reply to a player that has messaged the bot, I thought that would be a problem because it would be a different line of dialogue so I couldn't understand how to get the whole private message part going. That is actually perfect but I have a question, in the Text area, I am amusing that's where it searches for the said dialogue? How would /tell (bot) work, sense it doesn't actually show up as /tell (bot) it only shows the text afterwards. Either way, please attach a download if possible, even though I am really new to programming I think I can figure it out with a little bit of time. (Also please add a VirusTotal link if possible, just so I can make sure it isn't anything harmful.).

What do you mean? The text packet specifies if the packet was from someone, ie a whisper. Here are the Text packet variables:
Code:
        public string Name;
        public int ObjectId;
        public int NumStars;
        public byte BubbleTime;
        public string Recipient;
        public string Text;
        public string CleanText;
"Name" is the name of the person sending the Text. "ObjectId" is that persons ObjectId. "NumStars" is the number of stars/rank of the person. "BubbleTime" is how long the client shows the bubble. "Recipient" is either blank, or its filled in with your ingame name if its a whisper (so if you name is "abcde" and the Recipient value is "abcde", then its a whisper to you). "Text" is the actual text. And "CleanText" is the same as "Text" i believe, i think its blank sometimes though, so just use "Text" instead.

And so, to fill in a persons name in order to reply/whisper them, you would just do something like this in the OnText function (this code is just pseudo-code for the most part and wont work):
Code:
        public void OnText(Client client, Packet packet)
        {
            TextPacket text = (TextPacket)packet;

            //Check if text packet fits one of the triggers here...

            //if trigger conditions are met and this was the reply message
            string msg = "/tell {sender} trigger activated";
            // To fill in "{sender}" with the persons name:
            msg.Replace("{sender}", text.Recipient);
            // Then send the reply PlayerText packet
        }

So anyways, you just need to program the OnText function in the project ive created. It shouldnt be too hard, but this is atleast a decent starting point for you.

(also, just so you know, all uploads require mod approval before other users can download them and mods require 2 virus scans for each upload. So i wouldnt be able to upload this and let you download it unless i provide virus scans and mods then approve it anyways )

Alright, while I wait for the links to get approved I have a question. First, at the end of the second line of code you replace {Sender} with the Recipient if I am not mistaken because message.replace (I am guessing that means replace message.) ("{sender}" (I am guessing it replaces the word {sender} here.), text.Recipient); at the end I am guessing that you're replacing "{sender}" with the recipient which would be the bot, wouldn't it? Sorry, I am really new to programming, I have done it before but I didn't get too far.
