Need advice on internet speed.

Hello. So i have a problem with my internet connection. The speed seems quite ok, through test it shows about 30-40 sometimes 50mbps and over on download, and about 15-20mbps on upload. When i browse the internet it seems good, but when i play games on ps4 it sometimes lags and is quite slow. Also the connection seems to be inconsistent.
Is there anything i can do about it ? Thanks.

are you on wifi or cable on your PS4? On wifi i get very shit speeds but if i connect a cable into the PS4 from my router the speed is very good

maybe your router is messing something up or your ps4.
Hook it up directly with a cable and test.

Try putting your devices ip into the dmz feature of your router

Can you try hooking it up directly with ethernet cable? Instead of wifi and see what your results are?

What model router is it?

Have you checked your ping?

Try to reset your router.

Use the cable.

Call your internet provider.

At this point, I'd just ring your ISP up. Your paying for a weak service.
