Does Bigfoot exist?
Does Bigfoot really exist or it's just a myth about his existing?
Where is Bigfoot?
Apparently, bigfoot is all over the United States. Would make sense as there don’t seem to be any barriers to the big guys.
However, finding specific locations is much more difficult.
But there are people who see bigfoots often. I correspond with American Indian people who have sightings frequently—passing their property, by the side of the road, off in the weed- or cornfields near their homes. At the same time, people who live right next door to my correspondents say they have never seen one.
Many who have sightings say they have lived in the area where they had their first look at a bigfoot all of their lives. They didn’t believe their neighbors and friends who had seen them until, one day, a bigfoot walked into their lives—often when the former skeptic was hunting, taking a walk, working on his or her farm, going out to the chicken coop or barn when they heard their distressed animals screaming and crying out.
Sometimes, bigfoots are simply passing through the area where sightings occur. My grandparents, my Dad and uncle, and aunts lived in an area in east-central Oklahoma where a population of bigfoots lived. My Dad never said there were bigfoots around, but the household rules my grandfather imposed are exactly the same as many parents’ rules placed on families in the present day: be home before dark, never reply to screams or vocalizations they hear near the house, never run out of the house to see what is making the vocalizations heard nearby, never get up and roam the house at night even if you’re thirsty or need to relieve oneself. (As to the latter, some say that bigfoots can see very well at night, and if they were to see you roaming in the house by yourself, they may come in and try to abduct you. Even today, many who now live or have lived in bigfoot resident areas say the bigfoots watch their children. Many families think it’s possible they are watching in hopes of catching a child by him- or herself.)
It’s possible my Dad even had his own bigfoot encounter. My Dad’s side of the family is Creek Indian (now often referred to as Muscogee Creek.) He told me of an incident that happened to him that, if you removed the Creek belief elements from it, sounds like bigfoot encounters many people have.
In time, the old people say, the bigfoots near my grandparents’ homestead left the area and headed south sometime in the 1920s or 30s. I have a cousin who now lives in that same area—except that he lives on the other side of the river bottom. He is well aware of the old time creature reports. He says he is unaware of any bigfoot sighting or encounter reports in the area in modern times.
So, I guess it’s possible to say that the answer to your question is that, bigfoots can be found everywhere. But not every human who lives in the bigfoot-infested area sees them.
I wish I could be more specific, but it’s difficult to give definitive answers about bigfoot since the big ones have not yet been established as a real species.
Do I believe that bigfoots exist? Yes. Have I ever seen one? No. How then can I believe in them? Because people I know and whose character, integrity, and honesty I trust have told me of their sightings. I know them. I believe them before I would believe many skeptics and naysayers.
What evidence is there that Bigfoot, Yeti and Sasquatch exist?
1-Footprints, all over the place, of all sizes and depths. Not just simple outlines of big bare feet, but dynamic prints with varying toe movement in each successive track that have undergone scrutiny by anatomists, biologists, anthropologists, finger and footprint experts, and trained hunter/trackers with lifetimes of experience. These type of footprints cannot be faked on the scale necessary to cover all locations over the last 60 yrs from coast to coast in the USA and Canada, as well as overseas. The days of writing footprints off as simple hoaxes are long gone.
2-Hair. Many hair samples have been collected and analyzed by numerous labs and their people, as well as independent hair experts. Sasquatch typically has a unique hair structure that is easily identified as being unlike any other known animal. If the analyst is unaware of what they are examining, they almost always return the results as an unknown ape species.
3-Vocals. Many recordings are out there of suspected bigfoot vocals. From howls to screams to wails to growls to possible language. Voice and animal sound experts have analyzed many of these recordings and have stated that they are not made by any known animals, not made by Humans, and not the product of electronic effects on a natural vocal.
4-Eyewitnesses, all eyewitnesses as a whole, from simple laypeople to scientists to policemen to judges to trained military operators. From campers to hunters to trackers to hikers, nearly every day new reports are made about encounters with these creatures. Some reports are made by individuals, some are made by groups of people who all saw a creature at the same time. While it's easy to be dismissive and say that all of these folks are mistaken, or imagined their sightings, or that they are all victims of hoaxes or pranks, that explanation simply doesn't hold up. If we were talking about a dozen sightings a year, I would be the first to admit that its likely bs. But we are talking about dozens of sightings every month, from coast to coast, over the last 50 yrs. I find it highly unlikely that ALL of these people (some of which are trained in observation of Humans or animal behavior) are incorrect or imagined they saw something or were the victims of hoaxes or pranks. This isn't even bringing up the hundreds of stories gleaned from the verbal history books of almost every native American tribe in existence over the last thousand years.
5-D.N.A. Yup, that’s right. The same technology that sends people to prison, while freeing others, and is used to identify remains of murder victims and soldier’s remains found decades after war time incidents, has been used to analyze numerous samples of suspected Bigfoot DNA. While many times the results come back as Human or bear or some other animal, there have been several samples returned as an unknown or unidentifiable ape species.
So there you have it. Loads of good solid high-quality convincing evidence that an unidentified upright hairy manlike creature we call Bigfoot or Sasquatch exists in this world. Never again even entertain the momentary notion that there is no solid evidence out there of these creatures. You would be very very wrong.
If the case for the existence of Bigfoot was scrutinized in a USA court of law, with the same requirements applied to it as we use to try and convict criminals by proving by a preponderance of the evidence that someone did commit some crime, it would have been established long ago that there is sufficient evidence to safely certify that these creatures indeed, without a doubt, exist.
In closing, most likely you noticed the glaringly obvious omission of photo and video evidence from my list above. Well, I did that to emphasize that while photos and videos are the most common bits of evidence available, and we see new examples of it every day, they are also the easiest to fake or hoax or misinterpret visually. The case for the existence of Bigfoot must be established using the only fact based evidence that is free of any possibility, whether accidentally or on purpose, of skewing or misinterpreting the results. In my humble opinion, numbers 1 through 5 above avoid that kind of entanglements.
Why are there no pictures of Bigfoot with all these cell phones?
Because Bigfoot doesn’t usually walk through the middle of town during daylight hours when it would be easy for many people to snap photos of him/her.
First off, let’s think about this logically.
How long does it take you to grab your smart phone, hit the button for the camera, aim and shoot? 5 Seconds? Ten?
In a high percentage of reported encounters, the witnesses exclaim that the creature moves incredibly fast and fluidly, even through difficult terrain.
What’s another common thread in reported sightings? They are unexpected, happening when the car’s headlights shine on something big in the road rounding a turn, or when someone sees the creature as it begins to run away.
So you’ve got an unexpected encounter with a creature that moves incredibly fast, and it takes you at least 5–10 seconds to get your phone’s camera ready for a picture. This is probably why what few photos we do get are blurry.
Additionally, think about these items:
Now, how often are you out in the woods? I mean really way out in the boonies. Places where few people every go to. Most people may never get there, or may only go for a few days or a week maximum each year.
Then when they do, they camp in the nice easy RV loops or at the campsites with showers, fire rings, etc. I’ve yet to see a bigfoot hit the shower house for a quick rinse off.
And when they do go out for a hike, it’s during the day, so they can see the terrain and feel safer about the bears, cougars, rattlesnakes, etc. You almost never see anyone hiking at sunset, night time, or sunrise.
So in addition to the improbability of actually catching a bigfoot on your phone’s camera, you’ve made it even harder by limiting yourself to specific parks during the day time. Likely during the nice weather too. Who’s going to go hiking when it’s 33 degrees and freezing rain? Most researchers believe bigfoot is either nocturnal or crepuscular, so daytime is not the best time to look for him.
One final section on this too:
Bigfoot is a wild animal, said to be intelligent and extremely stealthy. You are venturing into his back yard. He knows the land, the trails, the bogs, and the creeks. He is also 7–10 feet tall and 300–800 lbs by all accounts. He can sound like this:
Bigfoot Howls Screams Sequoia National Park ( the best sound between 0:40 - 1:30 on the video) - youtube that.
Do you really think anyone is going to have their cell phone out & ready when they hear that coming towards them? (I’d be headed for the car!)
Now it this proof of their existence? No. But it is a logical line of thought on why we don’t get very many cell phone photos or videos of the big guy. I think the best evidence we’re going to get is video, from trail cams, security cameras on edge of town buildings, and drones.
