Nah AIO liquid coolers aren't overhyped or overpriced. $100 is perfectly fair for a 240mm rad with 2 fans, I had some bigass ugly heatsink on my i5, OC'd and was getting just under 75 under gaming load, switch to my AIO and I even pushed the voltage a little to reach 4.6GHz, and I get even cooler than that ugly ass heatsink.
