Upgrading PC

Hello! So currently, I'm in the need to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and ram. What do y'all recommend? I have a budget of $400 for CPU, motherboard, and ram. Trying to stick to AMD due to they're way cheaper (Doesn't mean y'all can't send me your intel ideas!). Thanks y'all!

if you want amd then id take the ryzen r5 1600, the asus strix b350f gaming mobo and 16gb of corsair vengeance 3000mhz ram

If you're ok with less ram but alot more processing power, then I would get an i5 7600k, Gigabyte - GA-Z270P-D3, and a stick of crucial 8gb ram. You can buy another stick for ~$60.
