So I finally turned on my MacBook and used a new Apple ID, just wondering if I can use my original Apple ID for imsg and FaceTime

best you don't. if you had to make a new Apple ID, that's telling you something. once you use it for FaceTime, your logging data from THAT MacBook to the server giving undeniable proof for Apple to know your using a "lost device.
