really? how do you make it go back for months? i cant find it

I dont have a calendar. I go to system restore then there are like only 4 dates. were are you going?

Windows 7 ? Or Vista? Or Xp?

Xo has calendar, Never done a restore on vista.

Windows 7 (Vista may be the same way) has a checkbox that says show more restore dates.

its vista. and there is no calendar. the last restore point was 2 days ago and that is when i still had the virus.

Nothing earlier then that, That doesn't make sense (Unless it's turned off...)

what about a full uninstall / re-install, Project folder remains un affected,

well i figured out that the virus killed my sound and a crap load of other stuff. and re installing vista is NOT and option. vb is now least of my worries.

I am totally lost on this recovery thing. any ideas?
