DBD is giving me a save game error. Any way to get it back?

no. the file isnt there anymore. do you suggest I add a folder named "ProfileSaves" to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\309202205\381210 and just get another one? theres nothing in the destination 381210 besides a .vdf file called remotecache

Just activate Steam Cloud and load your save or deactivate it and got a new one.

I think you need to enable Steam Cloud, to download the save file from your Cloud, then Deactivate it. This method fixed for me...
