I still highly doubt this process is automated, what I think is happening is they are reviewing reports from players and that's how you get caught.

It was automated because I can still go into the game without the ban message meaning EAC banned everyone, not the devs.

But save files is the only recent thing i have done , cheat engine and sam was about 4 months ago so idk ( friends who use it at the same time i did , didnt get banned)

I also use only Save Editor to edit MY OWN save and not ban. Profile is public and I have 3 "bugged" achievements.

No. Please don't say anything you don't know - I (for example) didnt use Cheat Engine.

Always private - but yes I was P3 with killers and used rare addons.
Although, this was an automatic ban process. EAC.

Okay, I have new info now.
My friend (Polish Community Manager) contact to devs, and know why banned all.

Bans were imposed as a result of using an exploit and were automated (they were applied manually but were not thoroughly checked). You can unban by contacting Valve (not DBD devs) because have been incompatible with steam policy.

I don't give a screenshot because he wrote to me in Polish language, you not understand it.

Of course some of these bans are in fact be "right" because you are hacking, but they have no evidence for it.

And what exploit? Can you tell? And: Why contacting Valve when EAC made the ban?

This is not EAC bans. They put these bans on the basis of player reports without checking if they are confirmed. That's why they broke Valve's policy.

They did not say what the exploits were - they probably did not know for certainty.

tl;dr This banwave is a random bullshit and abuse. DBD devs know we are hacking but they can't prove it in any way.

dude so if they just banned every report with no reason so many of youtubers and twich guys should be ban now which is not because youtubers and twichers getting a lot of reports for no reason just for salty players wants to report anyway

So guys, to keep you informed:
The ban wave occured by EAC. I talked to 3 devs, and they looked why I got banned. It was an automatic ban because of EAC. An admin also said, that 'EAC detects for hacks, save file edits, etc.'.
Now, to inform you: I also wrote EAC, they answered:

Hello Lucas,

We investigated your case very thoroughly. Your account XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX was used for cheating in Dead by Daylight. The ban is permanent and cannot be removed. More information on our ban policy is available here:
https://support.easyanticheat.net/kb/bans/

Now, I also replied, that they have to prove it. As I live in Germany, and our laws are made like that, that something like that must be proven, I also contacted my lawyer and we will clear that thing up.
If they will not give me the 'exact reason' why I got banned and flagged, I will contact them with my lawyer and we will also have an option to start a 'law fight'.

(I'm gonna sue them the shit out of hell haha

Of course, I could also just easily buy the game again, but why should I? I'm pretty mad. They should prove that I hacked, and then we'll see, I really think that, the way they are 'collecting data' is illegal, especially in Germany, you are not allowed to collect private data, it's against our privacy laws.
