In plain english: DONT FUCKING USE CHEAT ENGINE WHILE THE GAME IS RUNNING. You run the risk of getting yourself and others banned because of your recklessness. The save game editor will also unlock most of your achievements, it's highly advisable that you get Steam Achievement Manager to redo the dates so it doesn't look painstakingly obvious that you cheated.

Although, idiots deserve to get caught, Darwin at its best =D

but i heared SAM is very risky to use right now. is that true?

Every Ban can get undo. Manually Bans are of course easyier but also automatic bans are also removeable.

VAC bans were also undo in the past due false bans and it's automatic.

So EAC can do that also, if they care about it...

yeah dude but no one know what is the ban reason exactly

My clue is, that they checked if you ran a file that can mod anything.

Got banned recently

Yesterday after the freddy update , i got a ban (You have been banned in Dead by Daylight by the game's developers.)

The cheats i used is the save file editor like 1 week ago,
sam and cheat engine bp hack like 4 months ago.

I dont know what triggered the ban (it was private but i did make it public for 2 days for some trades recently and played about 4 games of killer this week all just lvl 50 but two of them were prestige 3 mm) , really sad about it right now , i mean in the end its just a casual game and dont harm anybody with level up cheats , is there anyway i could or we could get banned ? i did msg the dbd support telling them i dont know anything about it , but it seems like they gonna take years to answer...
Be careful out there bros , not only banned from dbd , but also have a banned tag on my profil ( i would do anything do remove that lol...)

So now that most of us got banned for save editing , is there any info or possibility of us getting unbanned ? or how to bypass the ban ?

Anyway i did message the support but apparently it takes years for them to answer.

For me , i edited my save like 1 week ago ( cloud was disabled , profil was private but public for like 5 games (2days) cause was trading )
Used sam and cheat engine bp hack 4 months ago
so thats my cheat history.

I think you don't get your bans for saved file, but for sam or cheat engine.
I use saved file since few times and have nothing!

Never used both, only save. Banned.

Was your steam profile always private? Didn't you make it obvious you used a cheated save file by running P3 on every killer, using rarest addons, etc.?
I still highly doubt this process is automated, what I think is happening is they are reviewing reports from players and that's how you get caught.

So next time take care and play safe mé$^mé$^ém$^ém$é

And don't use P3 if you are bad! It's so spotted mé^$mé^$
