Bank chargeback gamestop

I tried to refund gamestop in canada ( EBGames ) and they 1st told me they were gonna refund but they had to wait for a claim from their shipping departement, and then 3 weeks later still no refund and they stopped answering my emails.

I sent an email to my bank telling them that I never received my item, and that they promised a refund by I never received it.

Will my bank refund me ?

But you really should be calling them and putting this to bed asap

The best solution is to call them. Bank as a last resort.

I did call them, no results. This is really my last resort guys, don't buy from EBgames in canada their support is garbage

Did you pay with PP, because you could always open up a dispute

They refunded you while investigating, its not even close to that easy.

When you file a chargeback, your card issuer/bank will immediately refund you. In the days following, they will reach out to the merchant and give them the opportunity to refile the charges and do an investigation into the events leading to the chargeback. Most merchants never refile, but some do in which case it can look really bad on you.

Thanks for the info, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it's impossible for EBGames to refile, since I have an email of them saying they will refund me, and the only thing they have is the tracking number saying it got delivered. Still no proof they delivered it to the correct address

What did you originally tell them? Didnt come?
