Electroneum
In my life, nobody's really involved in cryptocurrency. I've been promoting it to friends and family for three years now and no one believes in it more than I do, so when something happens there's no one I can talk to about it. Now that I'm back and clean on this forum, I'd like to share with you my latest investment, and how it turned out, it won't be a long thread, I promise.

I found out about Electroneum when it was in it's ICO stage and I decided to take the bait and try it out, it was selling at $0,01 per coin and I thought it was a really promising coin. I bought 9000 of them, I couldn't buy more because I couldn't afford to lose more than that at the time. After a successful ICO, the coin is currently worth (as of 2017/12/04) 0.00000930 each (Currently $0.1043). I'm frustrated because their wallet isn't working for now, but I did something else too.

The price eventually went down to 0.00000340, it wasn't it's lowest but I really wanted to buy more at this point. Some ETN were circulating and I really wanted to buy them, as much as I could. After registering on Cryptopia and finding my wanted currency, I bought it at 0.00000340. I bought 50 000 ETN. The price now being 0.00000930, I'm the happiest guy in the world, but I don't know if I should sell these 50k coins, or keep them for now, in hopes that the price will increase more.

I'm looking for people to talk to about it, because it's (as of now) 0.46257300 btc in my pockets if I do, and that's a big sum in my book.
@Allura I've seen you around a lot, let me know what you think, if possible.

Thank you
There are 2 scenarios which are both likely. Both are complete opposites.

1. ETN is a marketing company (not so much a cryptocurrency company). They probably know people will dump the coin when wallets are released, so they will most likely put out some major good news (example: we’ve partnered with t-mobile) to stop dumps and get more people to buy.

2. They don’t put out any news and all of dump the coin

I think this company isn’t stupid and might do scenario 1
@Allura I'm pretty sure more than 30% of people will dump all their coins when the wallets will be released, some people bought over $100,000 worth of ETN when it was still in the ICO stage. If the price is still around $0,10 each, they will definately sell all their coins, it's an easy million dollar, right? What do you think that would do to the coin? Make it worthless ? The other 70% will probably hold and buy even more.

Well heres the thing... If people dump, price drop dramastically right?<- Well depending how many is "People" and how much, obviously... That will bring more people to buy it since its such at a low price which will bring it back up again. Right? Im thinking about it like its an ez 5x+ profit.... then you can buy right back in for a cheaper price so idk... Allura's option 1 does seem legit and seems like electroneum might do that though... but once again its crypto... Anything can happen....

Some people will dump, idk how many. Though if you put $100,000 into ETH, I'd assume they are rational. They may hold longer till the price of ETN increases further. However, we just have to wait and see. Not many more days left anyways. I believe the price will dip a little low (still above $0.01) but go back to $0.04 and gradually increase. However, its is totally dependent on the news. Someone on my dis cord group said there is a rumour that ETN will add the ability to buy ETN via paypal (which honestly doesn't seen too fake). This company's entire value proposition is to get people who have never heard of or touched the crypto space, to dive right into it. PayPal is something an average person has, its something we use to buy stuff online. Using it to buy cryptocurrency? That will change the market. ETN will become the gateway to other cryptocurrencies.

Since we're having a discussion about Electroneum, it's volume on trading platforms such as Cryptopia has greatly increased and I saw about an hour ago that another coin also increased in volume, I believe ETN and XPD (Petro Dollar) are the coins with the most volume on Cryptopia as of now. Petro Dollar currently is on a rampage and its price keeps going up and fluctuating, any idea why? Do you think someone's doing a "Pump and Dump" to it ?

just hold my guy.
Sell to get back ur initial investment, hold the remaining.
This is indeed a shitcoin. I would just take your profits and don't bother with it
Today the wallet will be release ( in 20 hours)
You'd have been smart to dump at least 50% of your holdings as soon as the wallet went live. The price has only gone down since, but it seems like it will remain stable around the 5-6 cents mark.
Any clue if the ETN has any chance to rise up to 0.5$+? Not sure if it's worth to invest into it or I should look at another ICO.

I think Electroneum has a future. Looking at it's price, it definitely has potential to rise.
To all those super stars that bought more on the dump
