What are you trying to crack? im 90% sure hydra is not as a effective as it used to be going back years ago, Security these days can pretty much deal with brute forcers with ease such CAPTCHAS Account Lockout's after numerous attempts & ip blocking, the best way would be to look for an exploit.

Hey friend, So I got the same problem as you a few months ago, Wanted to crack Emails but nothing works, I found the way: SE; I contact people and I try to SE their email box (Speaking with them, Giving them viruses ect..), If they don't reply me ect.. I make a few searchs and I am avaible to find his phone number ect.. If you'r not good at SE, I don't know, Sorry.

Well, it is definitely not "impossible", I don't know what type of person you want their email cracked. If it is an elder's email, the method I will describe later on won't be that effective. If it is your typical normie Roblox kid there will be a high chance their email will be leaked in some sort of database. You can easily find out if their email is leaked by typing it in here https://haveibeenpwned.com. There can be a high chance that you will get a strange result like "6cc05152a6098c9f868573a19d2bb9f9" this is called a hash. Hashes are usually used for sensitive data because the use of hashes makes it much harder for a person to acquire passwords. The most famous / most used hashes in databases are salted MD5 hashes and salted SHA-1 hashes. But the problem with cracking these hashes is that it takes 8.5x10^30 years with a normal computer, this is multiple times longer than the universe exists. So conclusion try your luck by looking the email up in leaked databases!

Firstly - Hydra doesn't need configs - Look on YT - Tons of how-to videos
Secondly - Gmail is not easy to get into - Unless you have exact socks 5 proxies etc you are going to struggle. Get yourself a mail access checker - Seeing as you need Gmail etc - Maybe MailStalker or something similar. Will go through list and show you which have mail access.

Yes there is a very big exploit in email; it's called IMAP. So yeah you can't do a sentry mba config for it and it will rarely work on big companies like gmail or yahoo except if the client have accepted IMAP login.

Yeah just make a threading software which check for each combo and get the imap server (generally the thing after the @; so for exemple for the combo aree@freenet.de the server is 'IMAP.FREENET.DE' the port is also by default 995) try to login and if server return an error then the combo is bad for email access, if server return valid response then you're good to go... Nothing complicated here... You can even add a capture script so you can check the email of the guy once you're logged in and capture what interest you...

I've made my own software for this and its quick af cuz it's IMAP guyysss, no captcha, nothing that can block you.
