I did the first step in your tutorial and i cant join game from character selection screen

Still looking for help as that tutorial ruins everything cant look into bags or enter realms or buy anything...

well changing UI isn't suppose to be a straight up thing. It requires your own edit. My tutorial was just to show you the basics of how its done and to get rid of stuff.
