First of all, it is not a shitcoin, it is proved a great coin with great future!

These rumors started from people that have millions in Bitcoin as they afraid they will lose money, if XRP will become No1 coin! Unless you have so much money in Bitcoin, I don't know what is the problem. Maybe you even heard people that want XRP to drop price before it will be on Coinbase so they can buy?

Well, you don't know anything about XRP then. XRP is not decentralized. XRP is getting controled by the banks. Is that what cryptocurrency wants to achieve? I doubt that. The banks are getting more and more XRP. They exchange their XRP into BTC etc. So "we" change our BTC etc. with the XRP which is worthless then. Then the banks have full control about BTC etc.

Centralised and decentralised is about ideology and you even called in the other thread shit coin the Stellar that is like a decentralised XRP and you tell me you know a thing even?. XRP is not controlled by banks, but it has deals with them and I find it actually a good thing. It's a coin that will start being accepted everywhere! Even coffee you are gonna order with it and pay with a low fee in seconds! XRP is worthless? And you compare with Bitcoin that is the most useless coin right now? Seriously? Do you even know why Bitcoin is alive and will probably never due? I guess not. Because it's not about technology, (it's useless on that) but about politics as it might replace gold in volume!

I don't say XRP is complete BS cause of the technology, I say XRP is complete BS because it has nothing to do with crypto if it got deals with banks & stuff. XRP IS a crypto! And btw, Bitcoin also now to buy/trade it, you usually need ID/passport etc in a new kind of banks that are super hacked every now and then, so I don't find anything valid here. Also Bitcoin is waiting eft approval that will skyrocket it. I am sorry, but on 2018, if by the word "crypto" you mean hidden, it's not anymore the case! And this is because cryptocurrencies are starting being accepted (banks are getting forced) and that is a good thing for them to get any value. But XRP did not do anything more than what Bitcoin would do if it would be of a better technology and if Nakamoto would still contribute.

We two have different pov's on that. Discussing about it doesn't make it better. We should stop it here I guess. My english sucks too hard to explain it good enough. Because I think that you didn't got what I meant.

btw, I hope you understand that cryptocurrencies are not gonna give forever the gains they give now the good ones. Unfortunately, at some point it is possible that governments will accept them and are gonna find a way to regulate them. But I assure you, that is not fault of XRP. And with the word "crypto" as "you" mean it, there are much less coins than you think, with Monero being the most famous of them. So if you are really on that ideology, I don't know why would you support Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin and not Monero, that is may the "real" decentralised coin!

It's called am argument or different ideas. But I am sorry, as long as this thread is public, our opinions are forced to be out.

I honestly have invested much more in BTC, ETH and LTC than all the other coins, but I hold good investments so my luck is on all the good coins. And I don't deny the future!

I will try to explain what I mean.

The banks wants the control over the "big fishes". BTC etc. But they don't want to spend 17k for 1 Bitcoin. What they do now is basically so: They buy as many XRP as they can so the price goes up. They can "control" the price. So everyone things "ahh I need to buy XRP". Everyone buys XRP and the price goes even more up. Through the exchange of BTC / LTC / ETH etc. -> XRP, the consumers get XRP for their BTC / LTC / ETH and the bank gets the BTC / LTC / ETH which the consumer "gave" them.
So in sometime BTC / LTC / ETH can be controlled by the bank, because they will have the most of it. And that's the thing most people don't think about.

It's kinda hard to explain it with a broken english, but I hope you get it.

My posts might be a bit aggressive, but I didn't meant it so. XRP got a great technology, I invested into them and made great profit. But as I heard about that stuff, I kinda felt bad to support such a coin. I know that XRP will not die. Unfortunately.

I get what you said, but it's not the case! XRP is really bought by many people. It has too big coin Market cap for banks to buy it. It's easier now for them to buy all Ethereum than XRP. XRP has deals with banks, like Bitcoin would have (Central Bank of Finland and other banks wanted to adopt it), but it is not controlled by them! If you sell them YOUR XRP, that would be the case. But the founder is a genius and development team is amazing. Yes, 90% are useless, but these coins to be high are for a reason. And the only "real" decentralised of the big boys, is Monero which btw I think is an amazing coin, but that's all!

It's 2018, things have changed and for the best or/and the worst, cryptocurrencies are getting being accepted!

I wish the best for cryptos! And sure as hell I don't want Bitcoin to fail (so I wish this lightning network to work), as I said many times, trust in cryptocurrencies will be lost. But people like you and me, have to follow the future. Big investors and experts are making money over the loss of little ones and newcomers. If we really want to make some money, we really have to follow as technology goes! And the safest bet, is diversion!

PS: one last thing. There are mining farms (of BTC, ETH, LTC) in China, Russia etc, that they pay 600.00$ only in electricity. Can you imagine how much money they make? Unfortunately, there are people that (alone or together) can really control the market!
