Trust me they will indeed find a way to find you, at McDonalds they can use the security cameras or local witnesses.

No VPN will keep you safe, it's what you tell the what determines if they are going to search for you or not.
If you never mess anything up SE wise, why would they even think about getting you in trouble?

As for refunds, you will need new information for practically any store, so it doesn't matter.

Companies keep IP logs. They can notice the same IP contacting them for warranty services, and that's a red flag.

We do not dictate what companies decide to do.
