Deleted eac lines in host file + deleted host file just to check
Disabled the EAC block from windows firewall
Verified integrity of local files
Enabled
Any ideas what could cause me to get a 'cannot connection' error?

If u did this all, and Dead by Daylight didn't connect, u has ban.
May be unpacked Dead by Daylight "NoEditorPack.pak"? Delete all files and verify integrity.

Deleted my game files and re-installed fresh off steam.
Is there a way to verify the ban? Seems strange that I'd get a 'can't connect' message instead of 'you're banned' message.
ffs delete the hosts edited text.

Delete the host file in system32 you mean? Because I tried that, along with just deleting the addresses and saving the file. I tried both ways to make sure.
Not sure what 'host edited text' is
Delete the .pak.bak file it creates just have 1 file not 2, it creates a backup delete the backup.
