Please tell me on how you plan on stopping these people? Let's say the kid couldn't get ahold of that AR-15; he was still set on killing people at that school. It still would have happened.

If someone tried to break in and rob me, it wouldn't be an easy task. This is why 13% of all home robberies in the US are done while the home owner is home... AND why 53% of home robberies in the UK(Gun Free) are done while the owner is home.
Criminals won't give 2 fucks about what new law you put in order... They're criminals. XD

also if u want to talk about narrative, most of the European school shootings took place in Germany, the last being in 2009. Whereas we've had around 145 school shooting in the US since 2009.

Honestly, if you need a gun to feel safe it truly is somewhat pathetic, I would understand the situation if the gun was for when there is someone who is adepting to get inside your apartment/house and need the said gun to keep them away, and make them feel threatened so they wouldn't try it again.

The culture is based around guns, because were the great American weapon complex. There is no reason that anyone needs a military grade rifle or automatic rifle other than to protect themselves from other people with guns.
