Help getting started in selling RotMG items.

I guess this is officially my first post, despite lurking on the forums for more than a year now.
Anyways, I have a bunch of items that I no longer need in realm (over 50 life pots and 10+ Deca rings) and so they are currently being stashed in mules. Ultimately I want to produce enough money online so I can treat my main account to some vault/char slots.
I have set up a paypal account, as well as a skype account (******mymule99) for trading and would like to know how I can get started selling these items off. My main concern is wether or not paypal will allow people to send me money as I do not have a debit/credit card linked, I live in the UK so will there be an exchange rate fee for trades outside the country? Why do people use Friends and Family on paypal? Is it possible to sell life pots/deca rings off individually, as I do not have any vouches (I plan on getting them to move onto bigger items) for example selling a life pot for £0.10 getting a getting a vouch then selling 2 life pots and work my way up. Lastly if exchange rate fees apply does it mean that if the fee is £0.20 and I sell one life pot for £0.10 to someone outside the UK, I will make no money? Just testing the waters with how viable this is going to be, I don't plan on going commercial, literally just want some money to put back into the game xD
