😎 How to increase computer speed

So, I've tried downloading norton free trial and it wont let me, this happens so far http://prntscr.com/izzwkrⓘ im guessing my computer going slow because it has a virus i guess? If you have a slow computer, nor much you can do with it. However, using a game booster can help, and since you're playing RS, and it uses a browser, try using a clean browser, like Safari, so that you don't have anything else running in terms of browser addons.

If you have a bit of lag, could be a problem with the server, or your location from the server, in which case you need to decrease your ping by finding a closer server physically close to you. Also ensure you are not streaming or torrenting while playing, as this can slow you down as well.

You havent mentioned if anything I suggested worked or not, nor if you even tried them. Was there a virus? did you get it cleaned out? Have you tried running something like Linux or Ubuntu, and then playing RS? That can be a huge speed booster considering Linux and Ubuntu usually use less resources.

There are programs such as CCleaner, Malwarebytes that might help you, i'd recommend giving them a try. Make sure to use latest graphic card drivers, also try upgrading to newer version of Windows (8.1 boosted my old pc a bit), if not there's nothing much but getting better specs.
