Need advice

Dear Mpgh,
So i came to you because i'm looking to stream on some differents game like GTA V, FH3, 1.6 etc..
And after some test and settings up OBS i had seen that my pc wasn't enough perform to stream without lags and fps drop.
On small games like 1.6 i should not have problems but on some heavy games, i saw that the stream was very laggy, freezy and unpleasant to watch.
So i'm not looking to the best because i'm not rich, but to know what componements i should change, upgrade to get a better stream quality and make it pleasant to watch.

So there is my config:
Cpu: I5 2500K
Motherboard: GA Z77P-D3
Ram: 16 Go DDR3 800mHZ
GPU: GeForce GTX 970 4Go

My Internet connection isn't very good as well, i have at least around 1Mbps on upload and 11 on download..
That could be the problem ?

Excuse me for my bad english, i'm trying to improve it everyday.

what settings are you trying to achieve ?

if its 720p30fps then you wont have to invest as much as opposed to like 1080p60fps

but your internet connection is likely to be a factor aswell with the 1mbit upload you will prob be capped at 540p resolution according to some posts about it on reddit

if you were to buy a completely new system you can try keeping the current pc and use that one as the streaming pc and use the new one for gaming

also whats your budget? if i know what you wanna spend i can give you some builds, your gpu is still fine, its just the cpu thats showing its age when hit with streaming and gaming

Well, 720p30fps should be enough for me to start.
I know my internet is slow but i have put 750 in the bitrate settings on obs, That's fine.
So if i am willing to change my cpu, did my motherboard is still fine or need a upgrade too ?
As i heard, Ram price is increasing af..
Let's say that i have 300€.
What do you think of used components?

yes you would need to upgrade everything you have so a new mobo, ram and cpu

used is also questionable since youre going for something thats outdated already and theres no upgrade path

if youre on a tight budget its certainly better to get an older i7

if youre interested im actually selling my old 4770k + 16gb ram + z97 mobo
