Question about cheating on alt account

I am playing with the same download of csgo on my alt account as on my main so I was wondering if I inject a cheat to the game when on my alt and then just close steam and everything and then play on my main will it leave traces causing me to potentially get vac banned ?

You mean you have csgo on your account and you created another account and shared with the other alt account you created?

as long as you're not family sharing the two accounts, and you don't have the same phone number activated on both accounts, you should be fine.
